Sole Doubles Through Tomescu
Level 20
: Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
George Tomescu opened the action with a raise to 32,000 from the cutoff, which led to a call from Ignacio Sole from the big blind with not much left behind.
Sole checked the flop of 4♣K♠2♥ before Tomescu fired 16,000. Sole raised to 41,000 and was snap called by Tomescu.
Ignacio Sole: K♦4♦
George Tomescu: A♣K♣
Sole was in trouble preflop, but he managed to not only outflop Tomescu, but do so in a way where Tomescu had a strong piece of the board.
The 2♠ turn and the 8♥ river were safe for Sole as he found a double against Tomescu.
