Punnat Punsri Chasing First WSOP Bracelet in $1,000 Mystery Bounty Pot-Limit Omaha
Welcome to Day 2 of Event #86: $1,000 Mystery Bounty Pot-Limit Omaha at the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP), hosted at Horseshoe and Paris, Las Vegas.
After two starting flights, 792 players are set to continue in Day 2 and battle it out for their share of the $3,064,720 prize pool, the coveted WSOP gold bracelet, and a first-place prize of $329,890.
All players will be hunting down Pei Li, who enters Day 2 with 1,175,000 chips and the overall lead. Yuan Yu is second with 1,169,000 chips, and Casey Wassell rounds out the podium, starting Day 2 in third place with 1,135,000 chips.

A plethora of notable players are still in the mix and looking to leverage their experience to push on in Day 2 and build a healthy stack for a run at the final table. Thai superstar and 25K Fantasy Draft player Punnat Punsri, who has over $23,000,000 in lifetime earnings, sits with 760,000 in chips and is certainly in the hunt to claim his first bracelet. Two-time bracelet winner and also a 25K Fantasy Draft player, Michael Moncek, sits with 655,000 in chips and will be looking to add to his bracelet collection. Brandon Shack-Harris, with just under $4,000,000 in lifetime earnings and also a 25K Fantasy Draft pick, is right on Moncek’s tail with 648,000 chips and is also hunting for his third bracelet.
Rob Wazwaz(one bracelet) on 858,000, Lawrence Brandt (two bracelets and 25K Fantasy Draft player) on 830,000, Brandon Cantu (two bracelets) on 743,000 chips, Craig Varnell (one bracelet) on 630,000 chips, Jason Daly (two bracelets) on 612,000 chips, Mark Radoja (two bracelets) on 547,000 chips and Rich Alsup (one bracelet) on 533,000 are just a small selection of top name players still in the mix in this star-studded field.
All remaining 792 players are guaranteed a payout of $1,320, but all will be eyeing up the first-place prize of $329,890 and the coveted WSOP gold bracelet. The final table of nine players will all be guaranteed $33,280, and the last four remaining players will all earn themselves a six-figure payday.
The mystery bounty aspect of this event comes into effect from the kick-off of Day 2, and players will draw a random bounty prize for every player they eliminate.
Day 2 is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. with 5:38 remaining in Level 15, blinds 3,000/5,000 with a 5,000 big blind ante. The players will play down to a winner with a 15-minute break every three levels. A 60-minute dinner break is scheduled after the completion of Level 26 at approximately 5:30 p.m. local time.
