Nabavi Wins a Three-Way All-in Pot
Play was already underway with what seemed like a four-bet from Shachaf Sholdman to 375,000 after Alan Engel, to his right, raised Seyed Nabavi's opening bet of 80,000 from under the gun.
With the action on him, Nabavi called. Engel, thinking of something else, raised all-in for just over 1,600,000. Sholdman and Nabavi, both covered, immediately shoved and called respectively. The trio tabled their hands for a three-way all-in showdown.
Shachaf Sholdman: A♣A♦7♦4♦
Seyed Nabavi: Q♥Q♣J♣9♥
Alan Engel: K♥K♦J♥2♣
It was aces versus kings versus queens clash. The flop dropped 6♥Q♦3♦ pushing Nabavi ahead of the others. Both Sholdman and Engel still had outs to turn things around but the runout of 6♠2♠ didn't help either of them. Nabavi scooped a huge pot, getting a huge chunk of Engel's chips and sending Sholdman to hit the rails.
