Roussy-Majeau Flops Trips
Tom Mccormick opened to 140,000 under the gun, leaving only 15,000 behind. He got three callers in Nelson Chelini in hijack and the blinds, Samuel Roussy-Majeau in the small and Jake Parsons in the big.
The dealer unfurled J♠J♦Q♣. Roussy-Majeau led with 125,000. Parsons called and Mccormick put in his remaining chips. Chelini folded his hand and watched the blinds battle it out. Their actions created a 220,000 side pot.
Roussy-Majeau kept the pressure high with a 175,000 bet on the turn 7♦. Parsons, not willing to let go, called. Finally on the river 6♥, Roussy-Majeau fired 400,000 sending Parsons to the tank. He took some time to consider his options but ended up conceding the side pot worth 570,000 to Roussy-Majeau.
