Straver checked again to Negreanu on the J♣ turn as he fired for 15,000 and Straver stuck around once more.
On the 2♣ river, Negreanu tossed out a bet of 60,000, slightly overbetting the pot, and Straver paid it off rather quickly.
"Full house," Negreanu announced as he tabled 8♠8♦ for a flopped set and turned full house as he got paid to become the chipleader early in the day.
