Plesuv Makes the Right Call to Eliminate Zappa

Level 3 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

John Brooks opened to 6,000 from under the gun before Lucas Zappa three-bet to 17,000 on his direct left. On the button, Pavel Plesuv cold-called and Brooks came along as well.

On the Q95 flop, Brooks checked to Zappa who continued for 26,000 and only Plesuv called.

Zappa fired again for 42,000 on the 5 turn as Plesuv called once again.

Heads-up to the 3 river with 193,500 in the middle, Zappa led all-in for 84,000 which send Plesuv into the tank. After using two time banks, he flicked in the call and the hands were tabled.

Lucas Zappa: A9 All in
Pavel Plesuv: AQ

Zappa had a nine with a missed flush draw as Plesuv made the right call with top pair, top kicker, to eliminate Zappa and drag a huge one.
