Mackie and Wells Chop Amidst Button Confusion
Robert Wells raised from early position, after which the action folded to Allen Kessler on the button. The table then realised the button was supposed to be one position to the right, and the floor was called.
After double-checking, the hand was to be played out as significant action had already taken place. Kessler then called, and Robert Mackie joined in from the big blind as well.
Wells continued with a bet on the 4♥4♠8♥ flop, seeing both opponents call. He fired again on the 10♥ turn, this time folding out Kessler, while Mackie check-called to the 7♥ river.
Mackie led out, Wells raised, and Mackie called. Wells showed A♥9♥10♣2♥ for the nut flush and nut low, but Mackie had the better high with Q♥7♦4♣2♣ for a full house, and the pot was split between the two players.
