Negreanu Gets Nothing; Beinner Stays Alive
Level 22
: Blinds 50,000/100,000, 0 ante
Viktor Blom opened with a raise from the hijack, and when it folded to Daniel Negreanu on the button, he three-bet. Then it folded to the big blind Matthew Beinner, who put in a four-bet. Both Blom and Negreanu called.
After the flop came 10♣4♦8♠ Beinner moved all in for his last 40,000. Blom then raised, which Negreanu called.
Both Blom and Negreanu checked the 3♠ turn, to see the K♣ on the river. Blom then bet, and Negreanu called.
Blom tabled 4♥4♣3♥3♦ to scoop the side pot with his set of fours, and Negreanu mucked. For the main pot, Blom's set was still best for the high, but Beinner had an ace-deuce to take the low, and stay in the tournament.
