Negreanu Gets Nothing; Beinner Stays Alive

Level 22 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 0 ante

Viktor Blom opened with a raise from the hijack, and when it folded to Daniel Negreanu on the button, he three-bet. Then it folded to the big blind Matthew Beinner, who put in a four-bet. Both Blom and Negreanu called.

After the flop came 1048 Beinner moved all in for his last 40,000. Blom then raised, which Negreanu called.

Both Blom and Negreanu checked the 3 turn, to see the K on the river. Blom then bet, and Negreanu called.

Blom tabled 4433 to scoop the side pot with his set of fours, and Negreanu mucked. For the main pot, Blom's set was still best for the high, but Beinner had an ace-deuce to take the low, and stay in the tournament.
