WSOP

In poker, like in life, they say records are meant to be broken.

But sometimes, someone sets a milestone that just feels impossible to top. Whether it’s because of insane skill, perfect timing, a bit of luck, or a mix of all three, the World Series of Poker has seen some feats over the years that seem like they’ll never be matched.

However, while all records may eventually fall, these achievements are currently some of the most jaw-dropping in WSOP history. Will any of them ever be broken? Only time will tell. For now, though, here are the most incredible WSOP records that will (probably) never be broken.

Le the Groundwork; Spear Spun

Level 17 : Limits 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Daniel Spear was one of the shorter stacks on the bubble but since then he has spun his stack up before meeting some resistance from Allan Le.

Daniel Spear opened the button and Le put the third bet in from the small blind. Spear make the call.

Heads up, they saw the 1035 scroll across the felt. Le bet, Spear raised, and Le called.

The turn brought the K and Le check-called a bet from Spear.

The river brought the Q and Le took the initiative with a lead. Spear didn't seem thrilled but put the call in.

Le tabled AJ66 for rivered Broadway and took the pot down much to Spear's frustration.
