David "Bakes" Baker, who bagged the shortest stack on Day 2, got his last 80,000 in the middle preflop. Daniel Spear and Ryan Bambrick went to heads up to a side.

Both players checked on 5A5, bringing the 3.

Bambrick placed a bet when checked to and Spear released his hand.

David "Bakes" Baker: QQ82 All in
Ryan Bambrick: QQ42

Bambrick's wheel made it so that only a five could award a quart of the pot but it wasn't meant to be when the 10 fell.

Viktor Blom
Viktor Blom

There are only 20 players left on the hunt for the gold here in Event #9: $10,000 Omaha Hi/Lo Championship, and they have a whopping 17 bracelets amongst them. Viktor Blom (840,000), however, has yet to close out a tournament in poker’s most prestigious series. He’ll be looking to sift through a star-studded field, including multiple bracelet winners Daniel Negreanu (1,550,000), Ben Lamb (740,000) and Joao Vieira (840,000).

Well into the day, with only 34 players left, Nadya Magnus proved to be the bubble when a brutal river ended her tournament early. Some players who made the money but didn’t make it to Day 3 include Brandon Shack-Harris, Julien Martini, Andrew Brown, and Jeremy Ausmus.

Play will resume at 1 p.m. local, Las Vegas time at Horseshoe Main Event Center. Bets will be 25,000/50,000 to start the day. The plan is to play as many hour-long levels as needed until just 5 players remain. Stay tuned to PokerNews for all your 2025 World Series of Poker action from the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas.
