Metalidi Knocks Out Niederreiter and Leaves Sheils with Scraps

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

A big hand took place when Fabian Niederreiter opened under the gun and faced a re-raise to 18,000 from Artem Metalidi. Richard Sheils woke up with a hand in the big blind and opted to raise to a total of 120,000. Niederreiter shipped his final 75,000 to be at risk. Metalidi surveyed the situation and took some time before he also made the call to be at risk for 113,500.

Richard Sheils: AK

Metalidi enjoyed a healthy lead over Niederreiter and Sheils, who held the same hand versus his pocket queens.

The runout offered no prospects of an upset as it came J2J95 to knockout Niederreiter as Metalidi scooped a big pot.
