Bluff Or No Bluff?
Since the three table redraw, Daniel Negreanu had been losing a decent portion of his stack and then raised from under the gun to go heads-up against Davide Suriano. The 9♠8♠6♦ flop brought another 50,000 each into the middle and they checked the Q♥ turn.
Negreanu checked the A♣ river and Suriano tossed out a blue T-100,000 chip to send the Canadian into the tank.
"Miam miam," Suriano jokingly said and Negreanu started some table chat that went back and forth, all the while Suriano was smirking.
"Damn, I was gonna fold but you might talk me into calling," Negreanu said.
More table chatter followed and Negreanu ended up folding.
When asked if it was a bluff, Suriano smiled and said "no bluff, value ... good fold" but never revealed any of his cards. By the time the hand was finished, the new level was already underway.
