Gustavo Ortega began the action with a raise to 200,000 from the small blind. Sam Soverel defended his big blind to send them to a flop.

The 75Q flop led to a bet of 200,000 from Ortega, which was called by Soverel to send them to a turn.

Ortega kept up the aggression when the 3 turn hit, this time Ortega bet 450,000. Soverel took a peek at Ortega's remaining stack and made the call.

Soverel Loses to Maue; Takes From Suriano

Leonard Maue raised to 140,000 in the cutoff and Sam Soverel called out of the big blind. Both players checked the 776 flop and 5 turn to the 4 river on which Soverel check-called for 275,000 and mucked when he was shown the 107 for trips sevens.

"I thought I was trapping you by just check-calling the turn," Soverel said among other things in table chat.

Soverel then raised the button to 125,000 and Maue defended the big blind. The flop came QJ2 and Maue check-raised from 75,000 to 200,000. Soverel reraised to 475,000 and Maue called. They checked the 9 turn and Maue bet the 4 river for 675,000, Soverel folded and mentioned he had let go of a flopped set of queens.

Soverel then won a pot post flop against Daniel Negreanu before opening to 125,000 from under the gun. Davide Suriano called in the big blind and check-called for 75,000 on the 998 flop. The 2 turn was checked and Suriano led the 9 river for 250,000 with 710,000 behind.

Soverel moved all-in with the far covering stack and while Suriano was in the tank, he asked "can I see your stack please" as Soverel was hiding the chips while receiving a table massage.

After a few minutes, Daniel Negreanu called the clock and Suriano folded the 108 face-up with ten seconds left to act.
