Jakob Miegel shoved for 575,000 from the button and Isaac Kempton re-shoved from the small blind with a covering stack, folding out Daniel Negreanu in the big blind to leave Miegel at risk.
Jakob Miegel: A♣6♦
Isaac Kempton: 9♦9♣
The 10♣10♦9♥ flop gave Kempton a boat, leaving Miegal drawing to just running aces or running tens. Miegal was drawing dead by the 7♥ turn and after the Q♠ river he was sent to the rail while Kempton took the pot.
Gustavo Ortega began the action with a raise to 200,000 from the small blind. Sam Soverel defended his big blind to send them to a flop.
The 7♣5♥Q♦ flop led to a bet of 200,000 from Ortega, which was called by Soverel to send them to a turn.
Ortega kept up the aggression when the 3♣ turn hit, this time Ortega bet 450,000. Soverel took a peek at Ortega's remaining stack and made the call.
The 7♠ river led to Ortega sliding out several stacks of chips for a bet of 900,000, leaving only approximately 45,000 behind. Soverel pounced with an all-in. Ortega shook his head as he flicked the remaining chips into the pot.
Soverel showed 3♥3♠ for a full house. Ortega revealed he had K♠Q♣ for two pair.
Leonard Maue raised to 140,000 in the cutoff and Sam Soverel called out of the big blind. Both players checked the 7♠7♦6♣ flop and 5♠ turn to the 4♦ river on which Soverel check-called for 275,000 and mucked when he was shown the 10♣7♣ for trips sevens.
"I thought I was trapping you by just check-calling the turn," Soverel said among other things in table chat.
Soverel then raised the button to 125,000 and Maue defended the big blind. The flop came Q♥J♥2♥ and Maue check-raised from 75,000 to 200,000. Soverel reraised to 475,000 and Maue called. They checked the 9♥ turn and Maue bet the 4♥ river for 675,000, Soverel folded and mentioned he had let go of a flopped set of queens.
Soverel then won a pot post flop against Daniel Negreanu before opening to 125,000 from under the gun. Davide Suriano called in the big blind and check-called for 75,000 on the 9♥9♠8♠ flop. The 2♠ turn was checked and Suriano led the 9♣ river for 250,000 with 710,000 behind.
Soverel moved all-in with the far covering stack and while Suriano was in the tank, he asked "can I see your stack please" as Soverel was hiding the chips while receiving a table massage.
After a few minutes, Daniel Negreanu called the clock and Suriano folded the 10♣8♣ face-up with ten seconds left to act.
