Welcome back to PokerNews, the official media partner of the 2025 World Series of Poker, bringing you live updates from every bracelet event.

Today marks the start of Event #98: $25,000 High Roller H.O.R.S.E., a three-day tournament that allows a single re-entry. Day 1 starts at 2 p.m. local time on Monday, July 14. The event is expected to attract the best mixed game players on the planet, so expect a stellar field.

Players sit down armed with 150,000 chips and play to 60-minute levels throughout; ten levels are pencilled in for the opening day. Late registration remains open for 12 levels (until about 3:15 p.m. local time on Day 2), and 15-minute breaks are scheduled every two levels. There is no dinner break planned on Day 1.

Those who navigate to Day 2 return to their seats at the slightly earlier time of 1 p.m. local time on July 15, with the plan to complete another ten levels. The eventual champion will become known on the third day, July 16, although the start time is yet to be decided.

Last summer, 120 players bought into this event, creating a $2,820,000 prize pool. China's Xixiang Luo emerged victorious after three intense days of mixed game action, defeating Lebanon's Albert Daher heads-up for his second bracelet and $725,796.

Luo spoke to PokerNews through a translator about his experience winning his second bracelet of the summer.

“I’m really happy and excited because this is my second bracelet. At first, it wasn’t as exciting as the first bracelet, but after I have had some time to celebrate, I feel just as good as the first.”
