John Racener raised from early position and was called by Christian Roberts in the cutoff, Cary Katz in the small blind, and Jerry Wong in the big blind for a four-way pot.
It was checked to Racener, who continued for a bet on the J♥7♠J♣ flop. Roberts and Wong folded, but Katz called.
Both players proceeded to check down on the 2♠ turn and 2♦ river and Katz tabled K♥10♥10♦9♥ for jacks and tens.
Racener mucked his hand and Katz added to his stack.

Kalas completed and was called by Mozdzen and by Hoenig from the briing-in.
Kalas led on fourth and was called by both opponents. On fifth, Kalas checked to Mozdzen who bet. Hoenig raised and both Kalas and Mozdzen called.
On sixth, Hoenig bet all-in for 2,000 and both called. On seventh, Kalas took some time before he bet into the dry side and Mozdzen called. Kalas revealed A♠5♥3♥ for just a pair of aces which were good as Mozdzen instantly mucked. Hoenig tabled 5♠4♥4♦ in the hole for seven-five low which was good for half, as Kalas become the largest stack in the room.

Jiyang Gan raised from under the gun and it was folded to Scott Sever, who said "This is so stupid but I'm raising," as he put in a three-bet from the hijack.
"I doubled him up four times yesterday," Seiver said of Gan from another tournament.
Action folded back to Gan, who called.
Gan check-called a bet from Seiver on the 2♥7♠10♣ flop and then both players checked on the Q♣ turn.
The 5♠ completed the board and Gan led out for a bet. Seiver looked him up and Gan tabled Q♥J♥ for a turned pair of queens.
Seiver let out a deep, therapeutic breath before sending his cards into the muck and Gan collected the pot.
At another table, Gus Hansen was eliminated.

Benny Glaser caught the 10♠ and had to bring in after the suit saw him pipped against table neighbour Ofir Mor. Daniel Negreanu limped in and everyone else folded. Negreanu bet fourth and Glaser didn't fall the trap as he folded the ten face-up to get shown ace-deuce in the hole by Negreanu, who has started well after his recent entry.

Brian Breck completed and was called by Gus Hansen.
Hansen led out for a bet on fourth street after pairing his eight and Breck called.
Breck called another bet from Hansen on fifth, but then bet himself on sixth and seventh after being checked to. Hansen called down and Breck announced "Kings-up" as he tabled his hole cards for the goods.
Hansen mucked his hand and was left with just 17,000 following the encounter.

Picking up the action on the 10♠6♠5♥Q♦ turn, Chris Hunichen checked out of the small blind and Matt Glantz bet from under the gun. Nicolas Milgrom called and Hunichen folded as the remaining duo headed to the 10♥ on the river.
Glantz check-called a bet and was shown the 10♣10♦5♣4♠ for quads tens by Milgrom.
