Thiriart Wins Huge Pot With a Hero Call
Level 8
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
There were roughly 75,000 chips in the pot on Q♠5♥8♦K♦5♦.
Jeremy Dan who was in the big blind shoved 64,000 into the middle, Arthur Thiriart who was in the hijack went deep into the tank, and the clock was called. Thiriart, with not long remaining, flicked in a chip to call, and Dan tabled a stone bluff with A♥J♥.
Thiriart tabled A♠Q♥ for second pair, and he scooped the pot.
