Wong Does Damage to Funaro
Level 9
: Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Frank Funaro opened to 3,500 from under the gun and was called by Ran Ilan and Jason Wong in the blinds. The flop came A♠Q♠2♥ and the blinds checked to Funaro who continued with a bet of 2,000. Ilan folded but Wong called to see the Q♣ on the turn.
Both players checked and the 4♦ completed the board. Wong led out with a bet of 5,500 and Funaro paid him off. Wong turned over A♥6♥ for two pair and Funaro was unable to beat it.
Funaro was left with just 36,000 after the hand but was seen leaving the tournament area a short time later after being eliminated for the second and final time today.
