Skerl Goes Runner-Runner on Liberto
Level 23
: Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Marcos Skerl raised it up from early position and was called by Justin Liberto in the cutoff. The flop came A♣10♣7♠ and it didn't take long for the two players to get all of their chips in the middle with Skerl at risk for 585,000.
Marcos Skerl: A♠9♣
Justin Liberto: A♥7♥
Liberto flopped two pair and had Skerl fighting an uphill battle. However, the J♣ and Q♣ runout gave Skerl a flush to double up, leaving Liberto with just 115,000 after the hand. He was eliminated within the next couple of hands.
