Jamie Dwan opened to 1,400 from the cutoff before Jana Pavini called on the button. Robert James defended his big blind to create a three-handed pot.

James checked the 2♣5♦Q♠ flop before Dwan continued for 2,000. Pavini folded, but James chose to check-raise to 4,100 in response.

Dwan called and sent them to the 10♦ turn. James put out another bet to the tune of 3,500. Dwan bowed out with a fold to award the pot to James.
