Agaev and Ibbetson Battle it Out

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Adam Agaev and Ronald Ibbetson clashed in back-to-back hands.

The first hand took place when Jonathan Gilliam raised to 1,200 from the hijack before Agaev made it 4,000 on the button. Ibbetson called out of the big blind, while Gilliam folded.

Ibbetson checked the flop of J55 before Agaev continued for 5,000. Ibbetson made the call.

Agaev kept betting on the 6 turn after it was checked to him when he wagered 10,200. Ibbetson took some time thinking over the spot before he folded.

"I think you had overcards," said Ibbetson.

"Anything is possible," replied Agaev.

The very next hand, the two were at it again. This time, Peter Vitantonio got it going with an open to 1,300 from early position. Agaev called from the cutoff before Ibbetson popped it to 4,800 from the small blind. Vitantonio and Agaev obliged Ibbetson with a call.

All players checked through the 8KQ flop to bring the 4 turn. Ibbetson bet 6,000, which folded out Vinantonio. Agaev hung in there with a call.

The A river led to a bet of 16,000 from Ibbetson. It was now Agaev's turn to go into the tank as he tried to come to a decision. Agaev tapped out with a fold to award the pot to Ibbetson.
