Partovi Takes From Takeya
Level 4
: Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
At last year’s runner-up John Wasnock’s table, Shawn Partovi and Naoto Takeya were heads-up on a board of 7♠K♥J♥6♣10♥ with 26,000 already in the pot.
Partovi, who was first to act from middle position, bet 7,000, and Takeya called from the cutoff before tabling K♠Q♣. Partovi could only show A♦J♦, sending the pot to Takeya.
