Arriving on the 7♠7♣4♠6♠A♦ in a 12,500 pot, Darren Elias checked in middle position to Champie Douglas on the button. Douglas bet 6,000, and Elias quickly called.
Douglas revealed A♥J♣ for a rivered two pair, but Elias had the higher kicker with A♣Q♣ to rake in the sizable pot.
Over at other tables, Martin Kabrhel and Thomas Boivin had also added over 50 big blinds to their stacks during the early proceedings.
