Margolin Felted Early
Level 2
: Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
Joshua Horenstein raised to 700 from early position, with Timothy Kuok calling from the next seat. Timur Margolin, who had just one black T-100 chip remaining, committed it from middle position. The big blind also called, and they went four ways to the Q♣3♦10♣ flop with Margolin all-in.
Action checked to Kuok, who bet 800. Horenstein was the only caller.
The 8♦ brought another check from Horenstein, and Kuok fired again, this time for about 2,500. Horenstein folded, and the cards were tabled with Margolin at risk.
Timur Margolin: 8♠5♠
Timothy Kuok: K♣Q♥
Kuok's top pair was well ahead of Margolin's third pair, and after the 10♦ completed the board, Kuok dragged both the main and side pots to bring Margolin's Main Event to an early end.
