Vuilleumier Has Voluminous Bluffs
Level 3
: Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Action picked up on the turn with the board reading 10♣2♠2♦8♦ as Justin Dreiling bet 3,000 from the small blind, and Alexandre Vuilleumier called in middle position after inquiring about how much his opponent had behind.
On the 6♦ river, Dreiling led again for 5,000 before Vuilleumier raised to 20,300 effective, asking Dreiling for the rest of his stack.
After a long tank, Dreiling wasn't ready to call off for his tournament life, and he let his hand go, prompting Vuilleumier to proudly table A♠3♠ for the stone bluff, and it worked to perfection on this occasion.
