Ladies Help Devereux Add to His Stack
Level 6
: Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
With about 18,000 in the pot on the 8♠J♣10♥ flop, David Stamm led out for 3,500 from the small blind, and Gareth Devereux called from middle position.
After both players checked the 2♠ turn, the 4♥ completed the board. Stamm bet 8,000, which Devereux quickly called.
Stamm tabled K♦10♦ for second pair, but it was no good against Devereux's Q♠Q♣ for an overpair.
