Moyers Gets Pressed
Level 7
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
There was about 16,000 in the middle when this hand was picked up on the flop of 9♣Q♥5♣.
Stephen Press chose to bet 7,500 on the button, but Anthony Moyers was willing to risk it all as they went all-in for approximately 33,000. Press was undeterred as they made the call to put Moyers at risk.
Anthony Moyers: Q♣J♣
Stephen Press: K♦K♠
Press had the overpair, but it was a sweat as Moyers held top pair and a flush draw for a healthy amount of outs.
The 2♦ turn was a blank to keep Press ahead.
Press held on the 7♦ river to seal the deal and eliminate Moyers from contention.
