Bifulco Pays Off Paur
Level 9
: Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Heads up to the turn of J♠5♠4♠8♦ with about 40,000 in the pot, Douglas Bifulco led out from late position for 10,000, only for Taylor Paur, in the cutoff, to raise to 30,000. Bifulco thought for a while and made the call.
The river brought the 9♣, and Bifulco checked to Paur, who fired off a river bet of 60,000.
Bifulco went into the tank for a short while and tossed in the call only to toss his cards into the muck on seeing Paur table A♠6♠ for the nuts.
