Roche Blasts Pelkey Off the Pot

It was heads-up to the turn on the 8♠4♠7♣K♥ with 14,000 in the pot, and Kevin Roche checked from the big blind to David Pelkey, who bet 5,000.

Roche responded with a raise to 18,000, which sent Pelkey into the tank before he put in a three-bet to 40,000. This sent Roche into the tank for a short while, and he then put in a four-bet to 95,000.

Pelkey went deeper back into the tank for approaching five minutes, and just as the clock was called, he released his hand to send the pot to Roche.

"You liked that King, eh?" exclaimed Roche to Pelkey.

"Yeah, I liked it a lot," came the reply from Pelkey, "Just wasn't sure if you had it!"
