Hellmuth Takes From Affleck
Level 11
: Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Nicholas Hellmuth opened to 6,000 from the hijack and Matt Affleck defended from the big blind.
Hellmuth continued for 4,000 on the Q♥5♥10♠ flop, then fired a second barrel to 7,000 on the 2♦ turn. Affleck check-called both times.
Both players checked the A♥ river and Affleck flipped over 10♣9♦ for a pair. Hellmuth had a better pair with Q♠J♣ and won the pot.
