Colter's Walking Sticks Good at Showdown

Tim Baker

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Felipe Olivieri raised to 16,000 from middle position, with John Colter calling in the hijack and Alex Livingston coming along from the big blind.

Livingston checked the 2♣K♥K♣ flop, and Olivieri fired a continuation-bet of 12,000. Colter called, while Livingston got out of the way.

Both players checked the J♥ turn and 8♦ river. Colter tabled 7♣7♥ for a pair of sevens, which was enough to win the pot.
