Turner Takes Himself to Value Town
Level 16
: Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Jon Turner opened to 18,000 from middle position and was called by Dinesh Purohit in the big blind.
Both players checked on the 5♣Q♣9♠ flop and 4♠ turn, but Turner bet 21,000 after being checked to a third time on the 2♠ river.
Purohit looked up Turner, who turned over 8♥8♣. Purohit revealed 9♣8♠ for a pair of nines and was sent the pot as Turner flung his cards into the muck.
