Lee's Overpair Holds Up
Level 17
: Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Lara Eisenberg raised from under the gun and Jinhoon Lee three-bet to 75,000 from middle position. Eisenberg made the call.
On the 5♠8♠J♣ flop, Eisenberg checked and Lee bet 130,000, leaving himself with just one big blind behind. Eisenberg jammed, and Lee quickly called off the rest of his stack.
Jinhoon Lee: Q♥Q♦
Lara Eisenberg: A♦J♦
Lee was ahead with his overpair against Eisenberg's top pair, top kicker, and stayed in front as the rest of the board ran out 4♦10♥ to earn the double-up.
