Roman Romm opened to 20,000 in early position and only Scott Sterling called in the small blind.

The Q♠7♠2♦ flop checked through to the J♠ turn which saw Sterling lead for 35,000. Romm responded by moving all in for his final 121,000. Sterling confirmed the count before a small tank, but he ultimately called to put Sterling at risk.

Romm was in good shape with his overpair and spade against the top pair of Sterling. However, Romm still needed to fade four outs, which he could not do on the Q♦ river, giving Sterling trip queens to crack Romm's kings and send him to the rail in brutal fashion.
