"My Intention Was to Call" Sparks Controversy

Level 19 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Tyler Gaston opened to 30,000 under the gun. On his direct left, Greg Garabedian tossed out two green T-25,000 chips. The table argued over whether it was a call or a raise before the floor was called. It was ruled as just a call.

"My intention was to call," Garabedian made clear as Nathan Fair also came along from the big blind.

On the Q102 flop, it checked to Garabedian who put out a bet of 90,000. Fair folded before Gaston check-raised to 220,000. Garabedian quickly announced all in for about 1,150,000, covered slightly by Gaston.

A confused Gaston went into the tank for a while as Garabedian remained stoic. He eventually folded as Garabedian tabled AA, sparking some controversy regarding the preflop misclick action.

"It's an angle for sure," Gaston commented as Garabedian defended himself while stacking his newfound chips
