Set Over Set Goes in Favor of Urban
Level 24
: Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
With 1,350,000 already in the pot already preflop, David Urban fired 450,000 from the big blind on the K♥Q♣3♣ flop. Jason Blount called from middle position.
The 10♠ landed on the turn, and Urban jammed for his remaining 1,125,000. Blount quickly made the call.
David Urban: K♣K♠
Jason Blount: Q♠Q♥
It was a brutal cooler of set over set, with Blount needing the case queen to make quads.
The 8♣ river was no help, and the pot of more than four million was pushed over to Urban.
