Musa Catches Lightning on the Turn
Level 27
: Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Wesley Fei opened to 200,000 from under the gun and action folded to Bahar Musa, who three-bet to 850,000 from the cutoff, leaving himself just 25,000 behind. Carlos Chadha Villamarin announced he was all-in from the small blind, which got a quick fold from Fei and a call from Musa.
Bahar Musa: 7♣7♦
Carlos Chadha Villamarin: Q♠Q♦
The 4♦10♥2♣ flop had Musa one step out the door, but the 7♠ turn got a collective, "Ooooh!" from everyone at the table as it had improved Musa a set of sevens.
The 6♥ filled out the board and Musa scored a fortunate double-up to keep his Main Event run alive.
