The action at the WSOP Main Event final table picked up quickly on Tuesday, with one short stack catching a lucky flop and another being sent home by the chip leader.
Greg "FBT" Mueller, who has the loudest rail, came into play on the second day of the final table with the smallest stack. The Canadian former hockey player and three-time WSOP bracelet winner was all in for his nine big blind stack with K♥J♦ and in bad shape against Lauri Saaskilahti's A♠K♠ early in the session. But the J♥ on the flop had the crowd chanting "FBT" in repetition.
Mueller, like most of the table, was stilll stick with under 20 big blinds, but he was back in business. Jamie Shaevel, a Los Angeles cash game specialist, attempted to make a similar play with his short stack.
