McCarty Out Before the Money

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Jaziel Yepiz three-bet to what appeared to be 40,000 in the cutoff and Marcus McCarty then four-bet jammed for 84,000 total. Jordyn Miller got out of the way and Yepiz quickly called.

Marcus McCarty: AJ All in
Jaziel Yepiz: AK

The QJ10 flop gave Yepiz broadway and McCarty needed a king to chop or running cards to a full house. No help came with the 2 turn and the 10 river ended his run late on Day 3.

Stokes Eliminates Hochheim

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Naixuan Shi started the action with an open to 12,000 from early position. Trang Huynh called from the next seat over before Jamin Stokes came along with a call from the small blind.

David Hochheim chose to go all-in for 137,000 total from the big blind. This elicited folds from Shi and Huynh, but Stokes had no plans of folding as he made the call to put Hochheim at risk.

David Hochheim: KJAll in
Jamin Stokes: JJ

Stokes had Hochheim in a rough spot with five cards to come, but Hochheim still had the overcard working for him.

That proved to be immaterial after the QJ3 flop came to give Stokes a set.

The 6 turn sealed the deal in favor of Stokes, making the 2 procedural as Hochheim exited the tournament.

Hernandez Drills a Straight Flush vs Peeks

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Roeland Peeks
Roeland Peeks

With Reynel Hernandez forced all in from the big blind for 6,000, Jared Passanante raised to 12,000 from early position before Roeland Peeks three-bet to 35,000 from the hijack. Passanante folded, and the two players tabled their cards, with Hernandez announcing he hadn't even looked at his hand.

Reynel Hernandez: K7 All in
Roeland Peeks: AK

Hernandez was in dreadful shape, completely dominated by Peeks' ace-king.

Then the dealer spread the monotone 345 flop. While Peeks remained well ahead with ace-high, Hernandez had a straight flush draw, prompting gasps around the table as players realized something extraordinary could be brewing.

The 6 on the turn completed Hernandez's straight flush, leaving Peeks drawing dead. The entire table, aside from Peeks, erupted in celebration, with cheers and shouts echoing across the room and drawing a crowd from nearby tables eager to see what had happened.

Even the dealer paused for a moment, almost caught up in the chaos, before eventually remembering there was still a river card to deal.

Around 30 seconds later, she put out the meaningless A, improving Peeks to a higher flush than he previously had, but it was little more than salt in the wound against Hernandez's straight flush.

Wilson Delivers Brutal Bust to Nash

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Brock Wilson
Brock Wilson

Hugues Girard opened to 13,000 from under the gun and Brock Wilson flatted on the button. In the small blind, Jarrett Nash squeezed to 35,000. Girard called as Wilson now weighed his options. He was well covered by Girard, but was covering the stack of Nash by 100,000.

Wilson opted to back-raise all in as Nash instantly called off his roughly 250,000 stack, and Girard folded quickly.

Jarrett Nash: KK All in
Brock Wilson: QQ

Wilson ran into the dominating pair of Nash as the 755 flop offered no help to either.

The 8 turn left Wilson with just two outs as the Q landed on the river, earning a round of gasps from the table as Nash took his leave from the tournament in brutal fashion.

Xuan Liu opened to 12,000 from the cutoff. Richard Kellett asked a question about how many stacks of red chips she had before he opted to make the call from the big blind.

Kellett checked on the 832 flop before Liu followed with a continuation bet of 10,000. Kellett was not done with the hand and made the call.

The 9 turn led to another check from Kellett. This time, Liu put out a bet of 40,000, which led to a fold from Kellett.
