John Racener opened with 9♠9♣ from under the gun and was called by Naseem Salem out of the small blind with 6♥6♦.

Salem hit a set on the 6♠5♥8♣ flop and checked.

Racener also checked to bring the 6♣ turn. Salem checked his quads before Racener fired 800,000. Salem responded with a check-raise to 2,000,000, and Racener called.

Salem jammed on the 7♣ river to put Racener to a decision. Racener went into the tank for a considerable amount of time before he flicked out a call and was shown the bad news, as Salem had the nuts with four of a kind to eliminate Racener in fifth place.

Racener earned $255,306 for his finish.

The 5♣ turn led to another check from Lipton. Cruz bet 1,800,000 and Lipton once again called.

Both players checked the 5♠ river to go to a showdown as Lipton took down the pot.

The 4♣ turn led to a bet of 1,100,000 from Cruz. Brewer stayed in the hand with a call.

Cruz checked the 7♠ river after he hit his flush. Brewer staged a big bet and put out 3,025,000, which was enough to put Cruz all-in. Cruz snap called to secure the double up to drag in a big pot.

Roman Hrabec was interested in the pot and, after weighing his options, decided to go all-in for 5,415,000 from the small blind. Lipton rejammed in response.

Weissman went into the tank, taking considerable time to come to a decision before he made the call to put himself at risk for 1,650,000 to create a three-handed showdown.
