Cruz Takes Chunk From Lipton
Level 33
: Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
There was 5,400,000 in the middle when this hand was picked up on the 5♦7♣A♣ flop.
Chad Lipton bet 1,000,000 with Q♠3♥ from the big blind and was called by Alex Cruz on the button with A♦5♣.
The 3♦ turn led to a check from Lipton. Cruz responded with a bet of 3,700,000, and Lipton called.
Lipton checked the J♦ river. Cruz put out a bet of 2,500,000, but Lipton opted to react with a check-raise to 11,750,000. Cruz wasted little time making the call as he jumped from his seat in celebration after Lipton showed a single pair.
