Michael Rodrigues Among the Leads on Day 1 of the $600 Deepstack PLO as Martin Kabrhel Progresses
Day 1 of Event #15: $600 Deepstack Pot-Limit Omaha drew in a 2,636-strong crowd to the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas, but only 117 of those starters progressed to Day 2. Portugal's Michael Rodrigues, a prolific player and bracelet winner, ended the night with 1,750,000 chips, enough for third place on the overnight leaderboard.
Rodrigues has more than 100 World Series of Poker (WSOP) cashes to his name. He won his bracelet in 2023 after taking down the $1,500 Badugi event for $144,678. Rodrigues is now within touching distance of bracelet number two.
Canada's Tara Dunn (1,995,000) leads the way going into Day 2. Dunn cashed in this event last year, finishing in 291st place on Day 1. She already has a cash at the 2026 WSOP, finishing 35th in the $1,500 No-Limit 2-7 Lowball Draw event.
Johnson Nguyen (1,785,000) returns in second place.
