Ardire Scoops a Monster to Send McCormack to the Rail
Level 27
: Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
In a limped pot, Philip Ardire called from the button, Stuart McCormack completed the small blind, and Jeremy Schutte checked his option in the big blind.
On the 10♠4♠A♣ flop, it was checked to Ardire, who bet out for 300,000, only for McCormack to raise the pot to 1,240,000, which left him just 6,000 behind. Ardire re-raised to put McCormack all in, who tossed in the extra 6,000.
Stuart McCormack: A♠Q♦8♠2♥
Philip Ardire: K♠10♣10♥4♦
"Red baby, red baby," called Ardire. The dealer duly obliged, peeling off the 9♥ turn and A♥ river, and Ardire's middle set improved to a full house to send McCormack packing and give Ardire the huge pot.
