Dominguez's Roller-Coaster Ride Comes to an End

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

It was a roller-coaster stretch for Jorge Dominguez over the course of just a few hands.

First, Dominguez doubled up with AK against the 88 of Erick Sarkis. Dominguez paired his ace on the 25AJJ runout to stay alive and gain some breathing room.

However, the momentum was short-lived. Just a few hands later, Dominguez got his chips in with AxKx against the 1010 of Shayan Eshraghi. The 9QJA8 board gave Eshraghi a straight, sending a large portion of Dominguez's stack across the table.

Left with just 14,000 chips, Dominguez was forced all in from the big blind soon after. This time he held 105 but ran into the AJ of Lifu Zhang. Dominguez found no help on the 8A327 board and was eliminated from the tournament.
