Marcus Takes the Pot
Level 18
: Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Shawn Daniels limped in the small blind but didn't get to see the flop cheap as Daniel Marcus defended with a raise to 30,000. Daniels called to see what the community cards would bring.
The dealer fanned out 10♣3♥7♠. Daniels led out with 15,000 which Marcus called. The turn fell 10♥ and both players checked.
On the 10♦ river, Daniels passed the action to Marcus, who took a few seconds before betting 35,000. Daniels called just to muck after seeing Marcus' A♠8♦.
