Nam Stays Alive

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

With only 65,000 coming into the big blind, Seunghyun Nam was forced all-in. Nicolas Betbese, immediately to his left, tried to isolate with an 80,000 opening but Taylor Carlat called to see a flop.

The flop came 98Q. Betbese continued with 120,000. Carlat hung on to see the next card.

Both players checked the A turn leading them to the 7 river. Betbese resumed the action with a 185,000 bet which was enough to make Carlat fold.

Betbese tabled K10 while Nam showed Q5 for a double up.
