Cohen Pressures Vargas to Fold

Kai Cohen opened to 480,000 and got a three-bet from Antonio Vargas, who made it 1,350,000. Cohen went beyond and four-bet 2,900,000, sending Vargas to the tank. He counted his chips and made the call to see the flop.

The flop came 3♦8♣8♦. Cohen kept the pressure high with a 2,300,000 bet. Vargas, cautious, still hung on to see another card.

Both players checked the 9♣ turn but on the river 3♠, Cohen took time to consider his option before pushing 7,550,000 chips leaving behind 50,000. Covering his face, he waited for Vargas to make his action, who started cracking his knuckles.

"Maybe we have the same hand," said Vargas as he mulled over his options. After some time, he folded his hand and asked for Cohen to show but was denied.
