Moreschi Draws Three Cards to Nine, Still Loses

Level 2 : Blinds 200/400, 600 ante

Picking up the action at the draw, Todd Rodenborn drew two cards from the small blind, and Stephen Moreschi tossed in three cards from the big blind.

He then noticed he made a mistake and asked if he could change the number of cards drawn, but as that was against the rules, he was not permitted to do so.

Ryan Johnson then remained pat under the gun, after which Rodenborn checked.

"Pretty good for a three-draw," Moreschi said as he flicked 1,000 into the middle. Johnson was not satisfied, however, and raised to 7,000, folding out Rodenborn.

Moreschi shrugged and called off, but his nine-low was not enough to take the pot against Johnson's 8x6x5x3x2x, and he saw the chips being shipped to his neighbor.
