From middle position, Tj Shulman opened to 450,000, leaving behind around 50,000 with him. Kurt Paeper, in cutoff, shoved all-in for 550,000 in response, pushing the remaining players out of the hand.

When action went back to him, Shulman put in his remaining chips and asked, "What am I looking at here?" before tabling his hand.

Paeper was ahead but the J♣2♣3♦ flop gave Shulman some hope for an upset. The dealer completed the board with a 9♠ turn and the 4♠ river, with no help to Shulman at all. Shulman left the table as Paeper scooped the pot.
