Foxen checked on the 3♣4♠8♥ flop and Hall checked behind to see the 6♠ land on the turn. Both players checked again before the 8♦ completed the board, where another round of checks followed.

Foxen showed king-high with K♣J♦, but it was no good against Hall's A♠7♦ for ace-high.
