Negreanu Shows the Bluff
Level 11
: Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Florian Ribouchon came in for a raise from under the gun and when it folded to Daniel Negreanu in the big blind, he commented, "Just the minimum eh, I got to," before putting in the call.
The dealer fanned out the 4♥A♠7♦ flop, prompting Negreanu to check. Ribouchon continued for 5,000, and Negreanu instantly responded with, "I got aces up, make it ten." Ribouchon continued with a call.
An A♥ landed on the turn and Negreanu tossed out 10,000. Ribouchon quickly folded, but asked Negreanu to show.
Negreanu obliged and tabled 6♥5♠ for just a straight draw.
